In a gesture of commitment to the well-being of our community’s youth, we donated a cutting-edge RO Water Purifier with a 50 liter tank to Shri Chennakeshava High School Karki. This was gifted by our Trustee Sandeep Hegde, in memory of his grandmother Kamali Ramakrishna Hegde.
Access to safe drinking water is a fundamental right that should be accessible to all, regardless of economic status or geographic location. Unfortunately, many schools, particularly those in rural areas, struggle to provide adequate water facilities for their students. Shri Chennakeshava High School Karki faced similar challenges, exacerbated by the region’s proximity to the shoreline, where water sources often contain higher levels of salinity. This government school, serving 254 students, now has access to clean and safe drinking water, ensuring the health and hydration of every child within its walls.
Hydration plays a pivotal role in supporting cognitive function, concentration, and overall well-being, especially in a learning environment. By ensuring that students have access to clean drinking water throughout the school day, we empower them to stay focused, engaged, and energized, maximizing their potential for academic success.
The inclusion of a 50 liter tank in the RO Water Purifier is not merely a logistical detail but a strategic solution to address the unique needs of Shri Chennakeshava High School Karki. With a large student population and everyone converging for lunch simultaneously, a robust water supply is essential to meet the increased demand during peak hours. The sizable tank capacity ensures that every student has access to fresh, purified water whenever they need it, promoting optimal hydration and health.
