As a Junior Lawyer, you will play a vital role in supporting our legal team as we navigate complex legal matters related to our charitable work. Your responsibilities will include conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, and providing general legal assistance. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of cases, from advocating for vulnerable populations to ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

To succeed in this role, you must possess strong legal knowledge, excellent research and analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and passionate about using the law as a tool for positive change.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting thorough legal research on various topics related to our initiatives
• Familiarity with Indian legal systems and procedures
• Assisting in the preparation of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and policies
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with legal requirements
• Keeping abreast of changes in legislation and providing recommendations on potential impacts

Qualifications:

• Recently completed Bachelor’s degree in Law from an accredited institution
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A genuine passion for social justice and making a positive impact
• Fluency in Kannada and English
• Native of Honavar
